Overview

Create Sweepstakes promotions to generate brand awareness, leads, fans and followers. Our cross platform Sweepstakes is an effective way to attracted subscribers to your text message and email list. Don’t forget to select a list for people to join or create a new one.

Creating a Sweepstakes

Create a new Sweepstakes campaign by selecting Sweepstakes in under the promotions section of the app.

Configure your Sweepstakes details inclusive of description, winner selection method, # of times participants can enter over time, number of winners, and start & end dates. Winners can be selected in a variety of ways including Winners Selected End, Instant Win, First N to Enter, Ever N to Enter, and N to Enter Wins.

Once your Sweepstakes is active, you need to configure the methods of entry so people can join! Keep reading to learn how to set up entry via text messaging, Facebook, Twitter, and web form.

Configure Text Message (SMS) Entry

Set up Text Message entry by selecting a keyword people will text to enter and defining a response message. You can also define winner and loser messages. Get more mileage out of your Sweepstakes by having participants join your SMS subscribers list - just don’t forget to select a list for people to join or create a new one.

Configure Web Form Entry

Allow people to enter your Sweepstakes via web form. You can select an existing landing page theme, upload your own or modify one of ours. Configure multiple pages in your sweepstakes flow including entry, confirmation, and rules pages. Make your entry form more secure by including a captcha (type of challenge-response test to ensure a human is entering). Use your form to collect data about participants like birthday, gender, etc. allowing you to send more personalized communications in the future.

Configure Facebook Entry

Allow people to enter your Sweepstakes via Facebook. Customize your Facebook entry page and consider making it a requirement that people “Like” your brand to enter the promotion. Use your Facebook Sweepstakes to attract subscribers to your Text Message and Email subscriber lists.

Twitter Entry Method

Enable Sweeptakes entry via Twitter by posting a message to your Twitter account. Within your message, ask people to retweet your message for a chance to win. Alternatively, include a link in your Twitter Message to a Sweepstakes entry form. Consider making a requirement to Follow you on Twitter as a requisite to enter.

Instant Win Winner Selection Type
