There are two ways people participate in your poll via text message 1) they can text a unique keyword for each voting option (i.e. A1 for Vanilla, A2 for Chocolate A3 for Mint) which works well if you can see the options in print materials or on a display or 2) you can ask people to text a keyword to have the poll options sent to their phone allowing people to then respond which works well in a verbal call-to-action like over the radio (e.g. Text “SONG” to 75309 to vote for your favorite song).
